TV SHOW GUEST 01.21.2014 ENVIRONMENTALLY HEALTHY HOMES AND BUSINESS Angela Navarro is a staff attorney with the Southern Environmental Law Center (SELC), a regional nonprofit using the power of the law to protect the health and environment of the Southeast. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida with a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Marketing, and she earned her law degree from Georgetown Law School. While at Georgetown, she served as Executive Editor of the Georgetown International Environmental Law Review and clerked for the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Prior to joining SELC, Angela completed a litigation fellowship in the Wildlife Litigation group of the Humane Society of the United States.
Angela is located in SELC’s Virginia office where she focuses on clean air and energy issues. She works on multiple fronts to advocate for the risks of overdependence on coal-fired generation and the benefits of making renewable energy and energy efficiency a greater part of Virginia’s energy mix.
