The mission of her Center is to integrate the worlds of creativity, service, meaning and commerce, and cultivate whole-brain, whole-person engagement in work and life.
Michelle is a business creativity catalyst and facilitator, experience designer, and an Creative Emergence coach deeply passionate about cultivating creativity and imagination in the world of work for more aliveness, enjoyment, and success. Believing that everyone has a calling, Michelle supports her coaching clients in finding their passion and structuring what’s most alive and meaningful in them into income-generating work through her Creative Emergence approach, which includes arts-based and other creative processes.

She also offers a variety of public workshops and creativity train-the-trainer programs internationally. Michelle is as an abstract painting artist, a CoreSomatics Movement and Bodywork Master Practitioner, and was a performer of improvised plays with Precipice Improv for 10 years. She founded the Capitol Creativity Network – an applied creativity community hub in the DC area since 2003, the bi-annual Creativity in Business Conferences, and the first the Creativity in Business Telesummit. She curetted a book, Navigating the New Work Paradigm with contributions from 33 Creativity and Innovation Leaders in 2011, and is currently writing a book, Pattern Breaks: A Facilitator’s Guide to Cultivating Creativity based on her last 17 years in the field.
